I started doing this several months ago and have LOVED the results! If you want to make it even “cleaner” (in a less chemical way), you can use kirk’s castille soap (at wal-mart in the health and beauty section).

Sounds delish! I’m glad to know you left out the pecans and coconut — and it turned out okay — because I would have done the same thing

Thanks for the response, Rachel! I may have to try this with my kiddos–they have run fevers and have a nasty cough. When we are better, we will plan a get together. I want to see Leland before he’s a teenager

This is such a helpful post, as we are battling sickness in the kids right now. Do you use the entire mixture in one bath, or do you mix those proportions together and use part of it in the bath? All three of those ingredients have so many wonderful uses! Thanks for sharing, Rachel.

LOVE the hot pink shirtdress, though I’m afraid it might just hang on me–maybe add a belt? Not so certain about the high-waisted trend, though I know it is gaining popularity. Maybe I’ll try it in a year or two…I’m always a little behind the trends.
